“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
— Acts 2:42 (KJV)
Our History & Foundation
Tuburan Bible Baptist Church was founded in [Year] by [Founding Pastor Name] with a small group of [X] believers who gathered in [a home / a small building] with a great desire to study God’s Word and serve their community.
The name “Tuburan” — meaning spring or fountain in the Visayan language — reflects our desire to be a source of living water in our community, pointing people to Jesus Christ, the only true source of eternal life (John 4:14).
Over the years, God has been faithful. We have grown from a handful of members to a vibrant congregation of [X] families, all committed to the authority of Scripture and the Great Commission.

What We Believe
As a Bible Baptist Church, we hold firmly to the foundational truths of the Christian faith as revealed in the King James Bible.
We believe the King James Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and preserved Word of God — our sole authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal and co-eternal.
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by works — and is a free gift available to all who repent and believe.
We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers who gather regularly for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and the observance of the ordinances.
We believe in the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ and in the resurrection of the dead — the saved to eternal life, the unsaved to eternal judgment.
We practice believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as symbolic ordinances in obedience to Christ’s command.
